Connecting the Telecommunications Cable
RJ12/RJ11 connector
Connect the telecommunications cable to an RJ12/RJ11 connector on the front of the
device. Signals "a" and "b" are assigned to the middle pins, 3 and 4.

Supply Voltage
Connect the 24 V supply voltage to the "24V" and "0V" terminal points on the plug-in screw
terminal block.

As soon as the "VCC" LED lights up, the modem is ready for dial-up line operation.
The PSI-DATA/BASIC-MODEM/RS232 is designed exclusively for SELV operation
according to IEC 60950/EN 60950/VDE 0805.
