Do not immerse the top cover in water or clean it under the tap, to
prevent damage to the Pure protect alert display.
Cleaning the adapter parts
Clean the 4 adapter parts regularly (at least every 3 months).
1 Unscrew the bolt in the hole on the inside of the clean water
tank with a coin. Then remove the bolt.
Make sure you disinfect the coin before you use it to unscrew the bolt in
the clean water tank.
Tip: You can disinfect the coin by first cleaning it with detergent, rinsing it with
clean water and then putting it in boiling water for at least 10 minutes.
2 Remove the support plate with the float body from the bottom of
the clean water tank.
3 Unscrew the float body from the float pin (1) and pull it off the float
pin (2).
4 Remove the float pin from the hole in the support plate.
Note: You can even remove the black part of the float pin for cleaning
purposes. Be careful that you do not lose this part.
5 Clean all adapter parts under a hot tap.
6 Reassemble the adapter parts (see chapter ‘Before first use’, section
‘Attaching the adapter to the clean water tank’).
