After having completed the 2-minute brushing cycle, the
Sonicare will switch off automatically. If you want, you can
switch the toothbrush back on for another brushing cycle and
spend additional time brushing the chewing surfaces of your
teeth.

You may also brush your tongue, with the toothbrush switched
on or off, as you prefer.

You may experience a slight tickling or tingling sensation after
using an electronic toothbrush such as the Sonicare for the
first time.As you become accustomed to brushing with the
Sonicare this sensation will diminish.

All Sonicare models come with the Easy-start feature activated,
which helps you get used to brushing with the Sonicare.

The brushing power will gently increase to full power over the
first 14 brushings.

The Easy-start feature is active if you hear 2 beeps immediately
after switching on your Sonicare. Once the appliance has reached
optimal brushing power (after the 14th brushing), you will no
longer hear the double beep at the beginning of the brushing
cycle.

Note: Each of the first 14 brushings must be at least 1 minute in length
to properly advance through the Easy-start ramp-up cycle.
To deativate or reactivate the Easy-start feature:

Attach the brush head to the handle.

Place the handle in the plugged-in charger.

To deactivate Easy-start:
Press and hold the on/off button for 2 seconds.You will hear 1 beep to
indicate that the Easy-start feature has been deactivated.

To reactivate Easy-start:
Press and hold the on/off button until you hear 2 beeps.This indicates
that the Easy-start feature is active again.
