Infra red remote control
Loading the batteries

Open the battery compartment cover.

Insert two 'AA' (LR-6) batteries as indicated inside
the battery compartment.

Close the cover.
Caution: Do not mix old and new batteries. And
never mix different types of batteries (standard,
alkaline, etc.)
Remote control device code
To operate the player via the remote control without
response of a second DVD player, you can program
both player and remote control to use a second set of
remote control codes.
The default system code is Code 1.
Programming the player to respond to
Code 2

Press
ON/OFF
to switch off the player.

Simultaneously press and hold
SOUND MODE
and
/
OPEN/CLOSE
on the player.

While holding the buttons in step 2 press
ON/OFF
to switch the player on again.

Continue holding
SOUND MODE
and
/
OPEN/CLOSE
for three seconds or until
RCCODE2
appears on the player’s display.

The player will now be programmed to respond
to Code 2.
➤
When step 1 - 4 are repeated the system code is
set to Code 1 again.
Selecting the remote control code

Simultaneously press
DISPLAY
and 1 or 2 on the
remote control to select code 1
or 2.

The remote control will now
be set to the remote control code of your choice.
➤
This action can be repeated whenever necessary.
Programming the remote control
Your remote control can also be used for operating
your television.

Select the brand of your television from the table.
For the remote control set-up codes for television,
See Appendix.

Note the first 3-digit code number after the brand
name.

Press for 3 seconds simultaneously
DISPLAY
and
RETURN

Your remote control is now disabled for all
functions.

Enter the digits of the selected code number within
30 seconds.

In case you press a wrong key or an incorrect
number, repeat steps 3 and 4.

Your remote control is now programmed to
operate your television with. The following buttons
are available for this:

TV VOL +
,
TV VOL -
,
c
,
TV CH +
and
TV CH –
.
●
In case your television does not react properly on
commands from the buttons mentioned, select the
next 3-digit code number after the brand name and
repeat step 3 and 4.
