“” Water Filter Installation
We recommend to install the “” water fi lter as this prevents
limescale build-ups and preserves a more intense aroma to your espresso
coff ee.
The water fi lter can be purchased separately. For further details,
please refer to the maintenance products page in this manual.
Water is a crucial part of every espresso, so it’s most important to always
have it professionally fi ltered. Using the “” water fi lter will prevent
mineral deposits from building up and will improve your water quality.

Remove the small white fi lter from the water tank and store it in a dry
place.

” button to store the water hardness value.

Remove the “” water fi lter from the package and set the fi lter
according to the measurements assessed (see previous chapter) and
specifi ed at the fi lter base:
A = soft water – equals 1 or 2 on the test strip
B = hard water (standard) – equals 3 on the test strip
C = very hard water – equals 4 on the test strip
