How to mount your MCL888
onto the wall
IMPORTANT!
– The wall mounting instructions are for
the use of the qualified wall mounting
person only!
What parts you need for mounting
–
1 x wall bracket for mounting on the wall (not
supplied)
Note:
This wall bracket is universally
standardized and available in the market,
specified with 75mm (2.95 inch) wide between
two anchor holes.
–
sufficient number of screws (e.g. 6 screws) for
fixing the wall bracket (not supplied)
–
2 x screws for MCL888 mounting
(available from unscrewing the desk stand)
Preparations
●
To find a suitable location for mounting, try your
necessary connections for MCL888, and detach
the TV/FM antenna from MCL888. (See the
chapter
Connecting the telescopic TV/FM
antenna
).
●
Ask a qualified person to help you with the wall
mounting, who should:
– to avoid unexpected damage, learn about the
piping, wiring and other relevant information
inside your walls;
– according to your walls’ materials, decide what
type of screws you need to fix the mounting
brackets and hold the weight of the MCL888;
– according to the drilling requirements, choose
suitable drilling tools;
– take other precautions necessary for the wall
mounting work.
Appendix
What parts you need for mounting

Align the bracket in the chosen location on a
wall. Use a pencil to mark the drilling positions.

Drill holes as marked.

Fix the brackets to the wall using suitable screws
(not supplied).

As shown, unscrew and detach the desk stand
from your MCL888.
●
4 screws are available from unscrewing, and keep
these 4 screws for wall mounting or re-mounting
on the desk stand later.

Screw two of the four screws available from
Step 4
to the back of your MCL888 as shown
below.

As shown, hook and mount your MCL888 in the
wall bracket.
