4. PREPARATIONS BEFORE USING THE
RECEIVER
4.1Hardware setting
1. Opening the housing
-
Slide the battery lock (fig.5B) open in the direction of the clip.
-
Remove the battery cover (fig.5A).
-
Remove the batteries.
2. Separating housing parts
To get access to the solder links, the housing parts must be
separated as follows:
-
Slide down the housing attachment (fig.5D) inside the battery
compartment with the help of a small screwdriver.

Pull the housing parts away at the bottom with the thumbs
(fig.5C) and open the housing hooks first at the bottom.

Remove the housing part with the clip only and leave the PCB
assembly in the other housing part.
3. Solder links
-
Battery saving circuit
Solder link (fig.6A) for 5F5F pre-amble string encoders only.
Factory default setting is “disable”. To enable battery saving,
close solder link (A).

Decimal group call
The receiver recognises one or more of the address digit
locations 2, 3 and 4 when they are equal “F”.
Factory default setting is “enable”. To ‘disable’ the decimal
group call, close solder link (B).

Accu mode (PCB version 5 and higher)
Make solder link (D) to enable receivers ‘on’ in accu mode.
Older version PCB’s are always on in the accu mode.

UHF front end module
Solder link (C) for factory use only.
VHF module. Solder link C is open
UHF module. Solder link C is closed
