2 Unpacking and Installing the Rack
Overview
This chapter describes how to:

Unpack the rack
•
Install the optional supports
•
Connect the rack to the monitor
•
Connect the plug-in modules to the rack
Unpacking the Rack
To unpack the rack:
Step
1
Open the shipping container and remove the rack from the container.

Examine the rack for visible damage, such as broken components, dents, or
scratches on the surface of the equipment.
3
Store all documentation in an appropriate location.
4
Save the packaging material for possible reuse.
Verify that you have received all of the following components:

The Efficia Rack
