Garbage SMS
Settings
This menu allows you to carry out the settings relating
to garbage SMS.
Garbage PN list
This menu allows you to add and check the garbage
phone numbers.
Call filter
Call filter feature provides a simple and quick method
for you to avoid nuisance calls.
Black list
contains a list
of phone numbers from which you do not wish to
receive calls, while
White list
contains a list of phone
numbers from which you wish to receive calls, while
all other calls will be rejected.
Black list
Allows you to
Add
, check
Status
,
Modify
and
Delete
the
numbers in your black list from which you do not
wish to receive calls. When you add a new number to
your black list, you can create the new number or
obtain the number from the phonebook. All
incoming calls from the numbers in the black list will
be rejected.
White list
The method of operation is the same as
Black list
above.
You will only be alerted when there are incoming calls
from the numbers in the White list.
Call filter settings
You can enable
Black list
, enable
White list
or
Close filter
(mutually exclusive) in
Call filter settings
.
Your mobile phone will reject calls from the Black list
automatically when you select
Enable black list
.
Your mobile phone will only answer calls from the
White list and reject all other calls when you select
Enable white list
.
Your mobile phone will disable calls filtering when
you select
Close filter
.
Note: When you enable Black list/White list, the reject
icon/accept soft icons will be displayed in idle screen.
Against
garbage
Once this feature is set to on, the
SMS will be discarded when you
receive a SMS from a phone number
which is in your
Garbage PN list
, and
this SMS is treated as garbage SMS.
By mobile
phone only
Once this feature is set to on, your
phone will only receive SMS from
mobile phone numbers. If set to
Off
,
this feature will be deactivated.
