5. Menu
Menu operations
Note: You need to insert a valid SIM card before you
can use the different menu features that are described
in the following chapters. If there is no valid SIM
when you switch on the phone, the phone will go into
restricted idle screen mode, and the use of the phone
features will be limited.
In idle mode, tap the
Main menu
hard icon at the top
of the touch screen to enter the main menu. If you
have not inserted a SIM card, you can tap the
onscreen
soft key to enter the main menu.
There are 3 main menu categories in this phone,
namely,
Basic App
,
Fun
and
Tools
. When you enter the
main menu, you can tap
soft key to access
the menus available under the different categories,
and you can also view all the menus available.
In the default main menu screen, the menus will be
presented in a 9-grid format. You can tap
to
switch to list menu format. Select a menu using
keys, tap a menu using the stylus pen to enter
the sub-menu, then tap
Back
soft key to return to the
previous menu. Short press
to return to idle
mode directly.
