As shown below,
two types of settings must be configured
before using
the e-mail feature: the settings you get from your operator, needed to connect
to the network (see “Network access”), and the ones you get from the e-mail
service provider to connect to his server (see “E-mail server access”).
Your phone might have been pre-configured. In this case, most
parameters are already set and you don’t have to change them
(except for
Login

Password
and
E-mail address
which are up to you when
creating an e-mail account).

In some cases, your operator might also be your e-mail service provider.

the network, whether GSM or GPRS, in order to
