Introduction
WAP
Your mobile phone supports services based on the Wireless Application
Protocol (WAP). The built-in WAP browser will allow you to access services
supplied with your network, such as news, sports, weather, timetables, etc.

Your phone may have been pre-configured to directly access the services
offered (if not, see “Settings” page 69). The
Launch
menu allows you to access
the online services provided with your operator. There are 2 ways to access
these services:
• In idle mode, press and hold

Most items of the
Operator
Services
menu (e.g. Service
numbers, Se) are
subscription-dependent and
specific to operators: your mobile phone
readily supports them if they are included in
your subscription. Consequently, the menus
shown opposite may or may not be available.
The
WAP
option (independent from the two
other options shown above), is described
below in detail. Contact your network
operator for detailed information on availability
and rates.

The services provided may involve making a

Contact your operator before initial
use, in order to make sure your
subscription supports the WAP feature
and your phone has the appropriate
WAP parameters. With some
operators, WAP access parameters
can be set remotely. Please check
directly by your operator.
