5.2 Using your stylus pen
5.2.1 Pen characteristics
An electronic stylus pen is the main input device of your CliniScape. It is the tool that interfaces the CliniScape
digitizer and it includes a pressure-sensitive tip, a function button and an eraser.
The pen is a full replacement of keyboard and mouse to enter text, make selections, and open files. The pen is
also equipped with a button that is used to right-click and with an eraser that can be used in all the applications
adopting digital ink. Refer to the below table for the complete use of the pen.

5.2.2 Pen calibration
The pen is already pre-calibrated, so that the cursor follows the movements of the pen as accurately as possible.
You should repeat the calibration if the co-ordination between the pen and cursor movement deteriorates.
A good calibration can be achieved with the Windows utility, available under the
Control Panel, - Tablet and
Pen Settings. In the illustration above, you can see that this feature is available under the “ Settings ” tab and
can be started after selecting the used screen orientation.
Store the pen in the pen receptacle on the top of the unit when not in use. To put the pen in the pen holder,
press it until it clicks into place. To remove the pen, press down on one end, grab the other end, and remove
from the holder.

WARNING: The pen is an electronic device. Do not exert strong and constant pressure on
the tip, do not drop it or store it vertically, do not immerse in liquids or use it as a tool. .
Clean or change the pen tips regularly, especially after intensive use in dirty environments.
