3 Getting started
3.1 Prepare
3.1.1 Insert the battery
The CliniScape includes a high capacity Lithium-ion battery that fits into the right side of the unit.
Under normal conditions, you can run the CliniScape on battery power for about three hours.
Keep the battery in an ambient temperature of less than 40°C (104°F). Remove the battery from its envelope
and insert it in its compartment. Press firmly till you hear a click that confirms that the battery has latched
Warning : To avoid personal injury, handle the battery with care. Do not open, puncture,
short, or expose it to fire or water
Note:
Under normal conditions, you can run the CliniScape on battery power for about
three hours. But the operation on battery can be increased if the CliniScape is set with the
proper Power Management settings under Windows. See paragraph 5.17.3
