ambience with light to suit the moment. It is part of the Philips LivingAmbiance range, in which all products work
together via the same intuitive remote control. A SmartLink logo on the box indicates that the product works

1. Get started
1.
Select the luminaires for which you want to use the LivingWhites luminaire control plugs. Make sure
your selected luminaires are not connected to a dimmer and do not have a dimmer built in.
2.
Choose the mode of operation with the switch:
a.
“DIM” if you have a dimmable bulb in your luminaire. This mode lets you enjoy the maximum
possibilities of Philips LivingWhites
b.
“ON/OFF” if you have a non-dimmable bulb in the luminaire. You will be able to switch the
luminaire on and off and make it part of your scenes.

Insert the plug of your luminaire into the LivingWhites plug, and then plug the LivingWhites plug into the
wall socket.
4.
Open the battery compartment of the remote control by pressing the button at the back. Insert the 3
AAA batteries (+ and – as indicated) included in the package.
You can now control the two luminaires with the remote control.
2. Creating your personal ambience with dimmable light
You can create your own ambience by:

Using the dim wheel. You can move your finger across the wheel to adjust the light level (for dimmable
bulbs only).
