5.10 P las tic mold tooling
T ooling to be designed to minimize cosmetic defects induced by molding process (sink, blush,
weld lines, gate marks, ejector marks, etc.). R efer to “T Y V 61-90007”.
P ainting to cover up cosmetic defects due to molding is strongly discouraged.

5.11 P las tic s flammability
All P lastics to be F lame R etardant UL 94-HB or B etter.
B ase / P edestal to be F lame R etardant UL 94-HB .
All major plastic parts (bezel, back cover) need to be molded from same resin.
P las tic res in type s election s hould be referred to “plas tic-P hilips P ool monitor”.
5.12 T ex ture/G los s ing of hous ing
T he texture area and texture no should follow P hilips make-up sheet.
T he exterior surfaces shall have a uniform texture.
P hilips must approve the mold texturing.
Detail document for texture refer to “UN-D249”, “UN-D 600”.
