DDC Instructions
Step 6: Save DDC data
Sometimes, you may need to save DDC data as a text file for using
in other I C chip. To save DDC data, follow the steps below:
1. C lick (Save) icon (or click "file"-> "save as") from the tool bar
And give a file name as shown in Fig. 18.
The file type is E
D I D4 5 file (*.ddc) which can be open in W ord P ad.
By using W ord P ad, the texts of DDC data & table (1 2 8 bytes, hex
code) can be modified. If DDC TEXTS & HEX Table are completely
correct, it can be saved as .ddc flie to re-load it into DDC I C for DDC
D ata application.
2 . C lick . Save
Step 7: Exit DDC program
P ull down the File menu and select Exit as shown in Fig. 19.
3. C lick ( W rite E D I D ) icon from the tool bar to write DDC data.

2. Access Factory Mode
[ P ush AUTO " " & OK " " buttons at the same time and
hold it ] + [ P ress power " " button untill comes out " W indows
screen"] => then release all button
- Turn off monitor.

D isconnect the monitor power cord and connect it again.
- 2 . P ress the OK button to bring up the OS D main manu.
-3. Re-confirm the serial Number is updated as shown in Fig. 2 3.
Step : 8 Modify serial number in OS D
-1. Unzip the serial number.zip to your computer, then open the folder
as shown in Fig. 20 .
- 2 . If use W in98 OS, you can execute SN.exe directly.
If use W in 2000 or X P OS, first, you must execute install.bat, then
execute SN.exe
-3. Set I 2C bus(press the left-top button of operating window) as shown
in Fig. 2 1, then press " SET" button.
- 4 . Set Block 2 as shown in Fig. 22
-5. key in new serial number, then press " W rite" button as shown in
Fig. 22 , C lick " W RITE" button.
-6. It will appear" Serial Number W rite OK" , C lick" Enter" to finish it.
