Removing the operating fluid reservoir
1. Wear laboratory gloves to avoid skin contact.
2. Remove impurities from the turbopump using a clean, lint-free cloth.
– Use only
prescribed
cleaning fluid.
3. Place the turbopump on the closed high vacuum flange.
4. Unscrew the rubber-metal bumper from the turbopump bottom.
5. Unscrew the Torx screws from the housing cover.
6. Remove the housing cover from the pump base.
7. Be careful with the O-ring; use an O-ring picker to remove if needed.
8. Remove the operating fluid reservoir from the pump base by hand.
9. Pull the old capillary rods out of the pump base using tweezers.
