4.2 Function

The pumping stations of the CombiLine are two-stage pumping stations with a single-
stage or two-stage rotary vane pump or a dry pump as a backing pump and a Roots
pump.
The pumping stations are intended for evacuating vacuum chambers to pressure values
in the medium vacuum range.
