Needle thread tension release
Requirement
With the thread catcher at its rear point of reversal, finger

must be engaged and there
must be a clearance of
0.5 mm
between the finger and the control cam

With the tip of the finger

the tension discs must be at least
0.5 mm
apart.

Fully retract the cylinder plunger

by hand.

By turning screw

Lower the presser foot onto the needle plate using the presser bar lifter.

Pull the pull rod
