Lateral position of thread catcher
Requirement
The tip of the thread catcher

must be pointing at the center line of the needle; if required
however, it can be up to
0.3 mm
to the left of this center line.
The thread catcher

must move without striking the bobbin case positioning finger

Disconnect linkage rod

Set the end of the cylinder plunger

flush with the face of nut

Bring the needle bar to its BDC and position the tip of the catcher

in front of the needle
by pushing the pull rod

upwards.

Position the catcher
