Thread check spring and thread regulator
Requirement
1. The thread check spring

must have finished its stroke by the time the point of the
needle enters the material (stroke
approx. 7 mm
).
2. The thread regulator

must be fixed into the elongated hole so that the thread check
spring
3
moves
1 mm
by the time the hook has widened the thread loop to its
maximum.

Turn the thread tension

(screws

) in accordance with
requirement 1
.

Move the thread regulator

(screws

) in accordance with
requirement 2
.
The stroke of the thread check spring
3
and the position of the thread regulator
4
are dependent on the type of thread and material used and should be
adjusted in accordance with the appearance of the seam.
