bEVEL-LOCk TENSION
ADJUSTMENT
Over time and through normal use, the ten-
sion in the Bevel Lock Lever may require
adjustment. Follow the steps below to make
proper tension adjustments.
To tighten the bevel lock lever tension:
If the bevel locking lever is in the lower
locked position and the miter saw head will
not lock, then perform the tension tightening
steps shown below.
1. Start from the locked position. (Lift down
the lever see fig.8a)
2. Pull the lever towards you.(See fig.8b)
3. Lift the lever up. (See fig.8c)
4. Release the lever. (See fig.8d)
NOTICE:
The lever should automatically
snap back. If it does not snap back, move
the lever up and down slightly until it releas-
es and snaps back.
5. Push the lever down. (See fig.8e)
6. Repeat steps 1 through 5 as necessary
until desired tension is achieved.
