DC CURRENT
•
Insert the black test lead into the COM jack and the red test lead into the A jack for a maximum of 2A. For a
maximum of 20A, insert the red test lead into the 20A jack.
•
Set the selector at the A or mA range.
•
Connect the test leads in series with the item to be measured.
•
Read the value from the LCD.
Note:
•
Select a higher range when the meter shows “1”.
•
Respect the maximum allowed currents for each jack (2A for 2A jack, 20A for 20A jack) to avoid damages.

Select a higher range when the meter shows “1” in the manual range mode.
•
The meter may take a few seconds before showing a stable value with resistances over 1M
Ω
.
CAPACITANCE
•
Insert the black test lead into the COM jack and the red test lead into the Cx/hFE jack.
•
Set the selector at the desired nF, 2µF or 200µF range. The range can also be selected automatically (AUTO).
•
Connect the test leads with the item to be measured.
•
Read the value from the LCD.
WARNING
Fully discharge all the capacitors prior to measuring capacitance.
WARNING
Remove all power and fully discharge all the capacitors prior to measuring in-circuit resistance.
WARNING
Make sure to cut the power of the circuit to be measured before connecting the test leads.
