This symbol on the device or the package indicates that disposal of the device after its lifecycle
could harm the environment. Do not dispose of the unit (or batteries) as unsorted municipal
waste; it should be taken to a specialized company for recycling. This device should be
returned to your distributor or to a local recycling service. Respect the local environmental

Safety Instructions
Read and understand this manual and all safety signs before using this appliance.
This device can be used by children aged from 8 years and above, and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the device in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children without supervision.
Danger
Fire hazard. Live coals, wood embers and chimney components get very hot during operation
and can start fires.
Have a fire extinguisher, a bucket of sand and first-aid kit ready whenever you use this
chimney.
Only use this chimney outdoors. Never use the device under a canvas or porch roof.
Always install the chimney on a solid, even surface protected from the wind.
Use only dry lighters or special fluid lighters compliant with EN 1860-3 as firelighters. Never
use liquids such as petrol, spirits, etc. to light or re-light the fire. Never add a fluid firelighter
on hot or warm charcoal/firewood.
Maintain a minimal safety distance of 3 meters between the lit chimney and flammable
materials.
Only empty the chimney once the charcoal has completely burned out and cooled down. Never
throw hot ashes away with ordinary household waste.
