PREPARING THE PANEL ASSEMBLY

Installing Gas Spring Brackets

1. Position the gas spring bracket as shown. The ball 

stud should face outward (B). 

2. Tighten the lower screw before inserting the upper 

screw. Tighten until snug. Do NOT over-tighten.

3. Repeat on opposite side.

Installing Rubber Bumpers

1. Insert rubber bumpers (C) into the top of the panels. 

There are two holes in every other panel. Twist bum

-

pers back and forth while pressing down to make 
sure the tips mushroom out completely on the 
undersides of the panels.

2. Remove the protective packaging between the pan

-

els.

NOTICE: If the bumpers are not staying in place 
when the cover is installed, your rails might not be 
parallel or level.

IMPORTANT: 

Place  the  gas  spring  bracket  on  the  outside  of  the
panel as shown.
