4 ... 20 mA
When a HART device is connected to the adapter, all parameters are read via the digital signal.
It is possible, however, to connect a 4 ... 20 mA device to the adapter. In this case the
4 ... 20 mA signal can be scaled as desired in the DTM and a linearization can be made if
necessary. In addition, current values can be set which correspond to the limits of the
proportional range and the fault signal of the device. Should these current limits be violated, an
appropriate warning or alarm signal is transmitted by the adapter.
