01. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Intended use
The
stick blender
is intended exclusively for chopping, mixing and pureeing food.
The device is designed for private, domestic use and must not be used for commercial purposes.
Foreseeable misuse
Do not use the device for chopping particularly hard food, e.g. frozen food, bones, nutmeg, grain,
coffee beans or spices. This device is also not intended for processing chocolate.

When using electric appliances, it is imperative to adhere to fundamental
safety instructions in order to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and
injury to persons.

This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved.

Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision.

Children shall not play with the appliance.
●

This appliance must not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its
connecting cable out of the reach of children.

If the mains power cable of this appliance should become damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufacturer, the manufacturer’s customer service
department or a similarly qualified specialist, in order to avoid any hazards.

Allow the appliance to cool to room temperature after each operation.

Before first use, thoroughly clean all parts which come into contact with
foods. Follow the instructions given in the chapter on cleaning (see chapter
“CLEANING AND CARE”).

Disconnect the appliance from the mains whenever it needs to be assem-
bled, disassembled or cleaned.

Do not touch the blades, especially when the appliance is connected to the
mains. The blades are very sharp.

When the blades get stuck, always unplug the appliance from the mains
before removing the ingredients that block the blades.
