Formatting a CF Card
Formatting will delete all the data on the CF card.
• Do not open the CF card cover while the card is being
formatted. The card may be damaged and become
unusable.
• Formatting will delete protected data too.

Select [Format] on the [Set-up] menu.

Press the four-way controller (
).
The Format screen will be displayed.

Select [Format] with the four-way controller (
).

Press the Playback/OK button.
Formatting will start. When formatting is completed,
the camera is ready to capture or play back images.
