This device is supplied with a warranty of 2 years from the date of purchase.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase.
The warranty furthermore covers material or manufacturing defects only. It
does not apply to worn parts or damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches or
batteries. The product is solely intended for private use and not for
commercial use. In the event of incorrect and/or improper handling, the use
of force or any work on the device that is not performed by an authorised
service centre, the warranty shall expire. This warranty does not restrict your
statutory rights.

When the main unit is switched on, the status of the power supply is
indicated by the colour of the Power LED [6]:
lights green:
power via mains adapter / batteries are OK
lights orange:
power via mains adapter / no batteries fitted or weak
batteries (change batteries if these are fitted - batteries are
optional for back up - see Chapter 7, point 4)
lights red:
no power via mains adapter / power via weak batteries
(change batteries - see Chapter 7, point 4)
Does not light: no power via mains adapter / either power by batteries, or
if the batteries are not fitted or are weak no power.
If the indicator [15] does not illuminate or illuminates weak when a button is
pressed and / or the transmitting range becomes shorter then the battery
must be replaced (3 V battery CR 2032, see chapter 7, points 1 to 3)
You should regularly check the device to see that it is safe and working
properly.
Before you clean the device, pull the mains adapter out of the mains
socket.
