PRESSURE SENSOR CALIBRATION
PRESSURE CALIBRATION = 0
FULL SCALE
PRECISE DETECTION OF WATER INSUFFICIENCY (DIAGRAM C)
In the case of misreading by the sensor, recalibration is possible.
For calibration of the sensor it is necessary to have a pressure gauge installed.
Steps to follow:
In the DIGITAL PT8 model simply introduce the nominal pump current to activate the protection for overcurrent and insufficient water
(see STARTING point 2).
However, it is possible to improve the detection precision for insufficient water activating ADVANCED PROGRAMMING MENU, the dr1
parameter, proceeding as follows:
When replacing with a new pump it will be necessary to repeat the process.
Having accessed the current menu by pressing
3 times, self-learning reading is invalidated and the manually introduced nominal
current predominates.
•
Firstly check, when the system
is without water, that the hydro-
pneumatic tank is inflated at the
required pressure. Then when the
system is loaded, or at the P stop
pressure:
•
Enter the ADVANCED PROGRAMMING
MENU
•
Press
+
for 5 seconds.
•
1. Open the valves to obtain
depressurised installation.
•
1. Start the pump until the pressure
switch cutting pressure.
•
Press
7 times to validate and to go
to the next one until reaching dr0.
•
Via the key
modify dr1.
•
Press
to access the self-learning
function of the device
•
Open the utility valves and run water
for approximately 15 sec and then
close them.
•
2. Press simultaneously the buttons
and until the screen shows 0.0
flashing.
•
2. Press the buttons and
simultaneously until the screen
flashes.
•
The pump will fill the system and will
stop once the stop pressure P value
already set is reached (see STARTING
point 4).
•
DIGITAL PT8 learns the value of
absorbed pump current.
•
3. Press to validate.
•
3. Set the pressure values with the
buttons and to indicate the
•
desired pressure.
•
4. Press to validate.

INSUFFICIENT
WATER
With detection of insufficient water shut the device stops.
Restart operation by pressing
With detection of insufficient water with the Automatic Reset system(ART) enabled, a first attempt at 5 minutes is
made and afterwards an attempt every 30 minutes during 24 hours. This
alarm can also be reset manually with the button . If the system still occurs after 24 hours, there is a definitive
absence of water

O
INSUFFICIENT
WATER (FOR
MINIMUM
PRESSURE)
It appears if in normal operation the pressure is below minimum pressure (Px. x) previously set during the time
(txx) pre-set in the ADVANCED MENU. If the pressure exceeds the minimum pressure, the operation is automati-
cally reset and the alarm disappears. Normal operation can also be restored manually
by pressing .
A02
O
OVERCURRENT
The overcurrent alarm is activated if the nominal current of the pump is exceeded. The device performs 4 auto-
mated attempts at reset before entering definitive alarm. Normal operation can also be re-established manually
b pressing .

EXCESSIVE
CYCLES
Only if activated in the ADVANCED MENU the alarm is generated after three consecutive cycles in a time range
less than that set. If rc1 is reactivated, the device does not stop and5 delay seconds are added for start to protect
the electric pump. If rc2 is activated, the electric pump is stopped. \To end the display on the alarms screen
