3. Safety
3.1 Symbols
The symbols Attention!, Warning and Danger have the meaning indicated below in this manual.
Attention!
Instructions for correct and effective use.
Warning
Incorrect or careless use may seriously damage the
instrument.
Incorrect or careless use may result in DANGER to the user
and the surroundings.
3.2 Precautionary measures and safety instructions
Warning
Cleaning products based on chlorite and fluorine must not be
used.
•
Never hold the DGM in your hands when the
measurement chamber is pressurized.
•
Prevent physical impact to the exterior of the DGM.
•
Be sure to prevent the DGM and the power supply from
sustaining any damage, e.g. by falling. If this has
happened, have the device checked by Haffmans or the
local representative.
