Remove the O-ring from the cavity.

Install the new O-ring in the valve cavity.
6.
Insert the new valve assembly into the valve cavity.
7.
Replace the valve cap and torque it to 70-75 foot-pounds.

Removing the pump manifold head
1.
Using a 6 mm hex-key wrench, remove the eight cap bolts from the
manifold head (see Figure 19).

Separate the head form the crankcase. It may be necessary to tap the
head with a rawhide mallet in order to loosen it (see Figure 20).
