Install the Saddle / Height Adjustment
For your child to ride their new bike properly, the saddle must be
correctly installed and adjusted to the right height for their size and
ability.
Open the quick release lever to allow seatpost to
be inserted into seat-tube.
When thinking about seatpost height, a good starting point is
to slide the seatpost into the seat tube so that the top of the
saddle is level with your child’s hip bone. Ensure the saddle
is straight and tighten the quick release seat post clamp to
secure the seat post.
*Note: If your child is learning to pedal for the 1st time it is
recommended for them to have their feet flat on the ground.
If they are confident in their riding then the proper position
is for their toes to be touching and heals off the ground.
