Flushing the valves

Sometimes debris or particles can get stuck inside 

the hydraulic pump which prevents the valves from 

closing properly, which leads to a reduction in po-

wer. Then clean the valves as follows:
1.  Lower the lift and close the discharge valve.
2.  Pull up the boom 5–10 cm and then open the 

discharge valve.

3.  Press down as soon as possible.

Rust protection

Make sure that the piston, pump and adjusting 

screw are in the bottom position when the lift is not 

in use. Avoid contact with moisture and moisture. 

If the lift gets wet, wipe it off and lubricate all parts.

Troubleshooting

The lift cannot lift at full capacity.
•  Check that the discharge valve is closed.
•  Check the oil level and top up if necessary.
•  Vent the system to release any.
•  air bubbles.
•  Flush the valves as described here.

The lift drops when it is loaded

•  Check that the discharge valve is closed.
•  Flush the valves in the manner described 

here.

Oil leaks from the oil plug

• 

Check the oil level and drain if necessary. out 

excess fl waste oil.

The lift feels spongy

• 

Check the oil level and top up if necessary.

• 

Bleed the system to release any air bubbles.

The pump lever goes up or strikes back when 

the lift is loaded

•  Flush the valves in the manner described 

here.

The lift cannot lift up to full height.

• 

Check the oil level and top up if necessary.

• 

Vent the system to release any. air bubbles.
