Place lifting chains straight over the piston guide
wheels and check that the cylinder guide pin is
placed correctly in the post hole.
Drill and screw the lift.
The back plate provides a correct distance
between the posts before you drill for the expander
bolts in the floor. Check that the back plate is
positioned correctly. Drill with an 18 mm stone drill
for the supplied (18 mm) expander bolts, it is
necessary that the holes are drilled with a
percussion drill or hammer to create a hole with
rough edges in the right diameter. Debris and dust
in the hole after drilling must be removed
completely.
Hit the expander bolts with a large hammer or
sledgehammer. Do not damage the bolt threads.
Adjust the posts before tightening the nuts. Adjust
the posts so that they form a slightly sloping
V-shape. The distance between the posts should
be 15 mm longer at the top than the
distance between the posts at the floor, correct
if necessary with shims. Tighten the bolts after a
period of use.
Raise and lock the sliding block on both posts,
about 40 cm above the ground. Make sure that the
safety catch on each post is fully in operation befo -
re installing the leveling wires.
IMPORTANT: The blocks must be at the same
height from the floor before mounting the wires
(first ratchet notch).
Pull cables, hydraulic hose and fit locking handles
and covers. See Appendix 1 + 2 + 3.
