10. NETWORK SERVICES
The following Network Services are provided by the fixed line network operator
and are dependent upon service availability and subscription. For further details or
subscription to the services, please call your network operator.
Interactive Application Service
The SMS668 has an interactive capability to access Application Services provided
by your fixed line network operator. Please check with your network operator for
service availability and your subscription. By pressing the “Info” button, a menu of
the Application Services will be displayed for selection. Follow the interactive menu
to view the information.
Audio Info Service
Audio Info Service allows you to access up to 100 channels of Audio Info Services
which is provided by your fixed line network operator. You can access the service in
ways:
• One touch “Audio Info”
button on base unit – press this to connect to the last
channel of previous access.
• Channel input – press the “Audio Info”
button on the handset and input the
desired -digits channel number. The unit will dial out automatically to connect
to the requested channel.
• Select from “Audio Info” of Main Menu – you can choose the channel from
the ‘My Favourites’ and ‘Channel List’.
During “Audio Info” mode, the “Option” soft-key provides different operations for you
to control the audio settings and channel selection.
Note:
The available Channel on the network may be updated regularly by your
Service Operator. You can download the latest channel list by pressing “Info” and
following the interactive menu to download.
Call Waiting
Call waiting enables you to accept another incoming call while you are already
engaged on a call. If you have registered for Caller Display service, the phone will
also display waiting caller’s name and/or phone number.
• During phone call, when Call Waiting tone is heard and waiting caller’s record
is viewed, you can press <Flash> key to answer the waiting call. Press
<Flash> key to switch between two calls.
• If an SMS is being sent to you while you are on the phone, “SMS is waiting” will
be displayed on the screen. The SMS will be delivered to your phone after you
