# If you subscribe to Duplex Ringing, use only Ringtone 1 or . If you set other
ringtones as the default ringer, you will not hear the distinctive duplex ringing.
Ringer Volume:
Sets the phone ringer volume.
Message Alert:
Turns On/Off the audio beep when an SMS, or Voice Message is
received.
Keypad Tone:
Turns On/Off the keypad tone when the keypad is pressed.
Predictive Input:
Turns On/Off the Predictive English Input when writing text in
English mode.
Message LED:
Turns On/Off the display indication when a SMS message or Voice
Message is received.
Missed Call LED:
Turns On/Off the display indication when it has missed call.
Clock:
Sets the clock display. Note that it is not necessary to set the clock if the
SMS668 is connected to a direct telephone line with Caller Display function. The
clock data shall be synchronized to the operator’s clock.
Citinet:
For users who connect the SMS668 to Citinet system, enter prefix “9” in this
setting. Once set up, you can skip the dialing of the “9” when you make any calls to
get an outside line using on-hook dialing. If you use off-hook dialing, you must still
dial “9” manually. If you are connected to Citinet system, you must set the prefix to
send SMS, access Info services and Audio Info services.
Note:
If you are not a Citinet user, please do not enter any pre-fix in this Setting. If
you do, you may not be access SMS, Info services and Audio Info services.
Phonebook Settings

“Phonebook Set.” to:
Search:
You can enter the name to search for. A list of names will be shown
alphabetically, starting from the name that you have entered. Use the▼▲keys to
scroll. If no name is entered, press “Search” again, the list will start with the first
name in the Phonebook.
To find a name starting with ‘M’, you can press number ‘6’ and the LCD display will
jump to names starting with ‘M’. After choosing a name, you can select to call the
number.
Add New:
You can add Name, Home, Office, Mobile, Fax numbers, and dedicate
a Ringtone and Caller Graphic icon for phonebook entry. On selection, the ringtone
will be played back once for confirmation. If a call is received from this caller, the
selected ringtone is used to ring the SMS668, and the associated caller graphic icon
will pop up on the LCD. You can use this feature to group your callers into different
categories.
