When you’re finished reviewing or editing the NMS044 Setup file, click the
menu
icon
, and choose
Setup Manager
.
Step 5.
If you made changes to the NMS044 setup file, do the following:
Saving a New Setup File
a.
Right-click on the name of the setup in the list. This opens the Menu.

Choose
Save As
, enter a custom setup name, and click OK.

Finally, in the Setup Manager list, highlight the setup you want to use for the
upcoming measurement, right-click to open the Menu, and select
Set to Active
.
4.1.2 Configuring the Meter to Send Alert Notifications
The 831C SLM can be set up to send email and text alert notifications for a variety of system
events, as well as measurement and sound events. When an event (setting change,
exceedance trigger, sound event, etc.) occurs and the meter has an active network
connection, the meter sends the alert notification after the event has concluded.
Using G4 version 4.5 or newer, alert notifications for system-, event-, and measurement
history-triggered events are set up through a user account on the meter. To configure this,
launch G4, and go to
