Installing an interface cable on the SmartNode device’s FXS and FXO interface ports
The SmartNode comes with at least two FXS analog ports (see
) located on the back of the device. Some
Models have FXO ports as well, with equal number of ports as for FXS. The FXS interfaces are connected to ana-
log devices via cables (see
on page 37) terminated with RJ-11 connectors (see section
page 61), while the same type of cable and pinout is being used to connect a POTS line to the FXO ports of the
SmartNode.
