7. MAINTENANCE
• When the hedge trimmer is stopped for servicing, inspection or storage,
shut off the power source, disconnect the spark plug wire from the spark
plug and make sure all moving parts have come to a stop. Allow the hedge
trimmer to cool before making any inspections, adjustments, etc. Contact
with moving cutting head or hot muffler may result in a personal injury.
BLADE
• Check the blade and the fasteners for looseness, cracking, or bending.
• Check the cutting edges and reform with a flat file. Point:
1. Keep the end corner sharp.
2. Round the root of the edge.
3. Do not use water when using a grinder.
• You need not to adjust the gap between upper blade and lower blade as this
product is designed to have optimal gap when it is properly set up.
When mounting the blade, make sure to fasten the spacer, washer and bolt, then
fasten the nut.
