Getting Started

Getting started with the SurfRAID TRITON Mini consists of the
following steps:

-Unpack the SurfRAID TRITON Mini.

-Identify the Parts of the SurfRAID TRITON Mini.

-Install the Hard Drives.

-Connect the SCSI Cables.

-Set SCSI Termination.

-Power on the SurfRAID TRITON Mini.

2.1  Unpacking the SurfRAID TRITON Mini

Unpack the SurfRAID TRITON Mini and verify that the contents of the ship-
ping carton are all there and in good condition. Before removing the SurfRAID
TRITON Mini from the shipping carton, visually inspect the physical condition
of the shipping carton. Exterior damage to the shipping carton may indicate
that the contents of the carton are damaged. If any damage is found, do not
remove the components; contact Partners at 800-550-3005.
