make sure to position it correctly. The
take-upflange‘s(18)contouringmust
face towards the motor. If you turn the
take-upflange(18),thetake-upspindle
(15)mustturnwithit.
9. Positionthedesiredcuttingdisk(7)on
thetake-upflange(18).
10. Set the desired cutting width by select

ingthespacerdisks(19).Pushthe
spacerdisksontothetake-upspindle
(15).Thisisfollowedbytheflange
(20).Thisisfollowedbythesecond
cuttingdisk(7).Allseparatordisks(19)
not used for setting the cutting width
mustbepushedontothetake-upspin-
dle(15)afterthesecondcuttingdisk.
11. Reposition the threaded clamping
flange(16)onthetake-upspindle(15).
12.Pressthespindleretainingtab(6),and
turnthetake-upspindle(15)untilthe
spindleretainerfixesthetake-upspin-
dle(15).Retightenthethreadedclamp-
ingflange(16)usingthechuckkey
(12).Youcannowreleasethespindle
retainingtab(6).
Information on replacement:
• Never operate the device with
-
out protective equipment.
• Ensurethattherotationspeed
statedonthegrindingdisc(7)is
the same or higher than the nomi
-
nal rotation speed of the device.
• Ensurethatthegrindingdisc
dimensions match those of the
device.
• Onlyuseflawlessgrindingdiscs
(ringingtest:whenyoustrikethe
grinding disc with a plastic ham
-
mer,itresultsinaclearsound).
• Neverre-drillalocatinghole
which is too small to make it
larger.
• Never use separate bushings or
adapters in order to make grind
-
ing discs with a hole that is too
largefitthedevice.
• Do not use any saw blades.
Only replace the diamond
cutting disks in pairs.
If the direction of rotation is marked
on your cutting disc, make sure that
it matches the direction of rotation
mark on the tool.
Wear protective gloves when
changing the discs in order to
avoid cutting damages.
Setting the groove depth
1. Releasetheretainingscrew(17).
2. Setthescaleontheprotectivecover(5)
to the required depth.
3. Reattachtheprotectiveguard(5)with
theretainingscrew(17).
