Repairs to the device must be performed by
authorised specialised companies or customer
service. Improper repairs may result in consid-
erable danger to the user. They will also void
the warranty.
Always replace defective parts with genuine
spare parts. Only these parts will ensure the
safety requirements are met.
Protect the device from moisture and from liquids
entering the device.
Only unplug the power supply from the socket
by the mains plug.
Do not operate the device near open fire.
Do not use the device directly below or above
a wall socket.
Unplug from the socket in the event of malfunc-
tions or in thunderstorms.
Never use the device in the immediate vicinity
of a bath, shower or swimming pool.
Before Initial Use
Setting up the device
Remove all packaging material and all transport
locks from the device.
The site where the device will be used must meet
the following requirements for safe and trouble-free
operation:
– The ground must be solid, even and level.
– Keep at least 30 cm from the side, 30 cm from
the top, 30 cm from the rear and 100 cm from
the front of the housing clear.
– Do not place the device on a hot, wet or very
moist environment or near flammable materials.
– The socket must be easy to access so the
supply cable can easily be disconnect in the
event of an emergency.
– Temperature range: 0 to +40 °C
– Humidity (no condensation): 5–75 %
Note:
When first using the device it may tempo-
rarily emit a mild odour.
Initial use
Heat settings and switching
the fan on / off
Verify the heat switch
2
is set to
0
. Then con-
nect the industrial radiator to an earthed ELCB
socket. Ensure the fan is able to rotate freely.
Now switch on the device by setting the heat
switch
2
to the desired setting. Note:
0
Off position
When the heat switch
2
is in this position, the
device is switched off.
Fan position
When the heat switch
2
is in this position,
only the fan will be oper-
ated. Use this setting to
use the device as a fan.
Heat setting 1 With the heat switch
2
in this position the out-
put of the industrial ra-
diator will be 1500 W.
Heat setting 2 With the heat switch
2
in this position the out-
put of the industrial ra-
diator will be 3000 W.
Note:
The device will need approx. 8 minutes to
warm up.
Selecting the temperature
Set the heat switch
2
to the desired heat output
to start the device.
Turn the temperature control
3
all the way
clockwise.
Once the desired temperature has been reached,
turn the temperature control
3
counter-clockwise
until you hear it click. A built-in temperature control
will now automatically switch the heater on /
off. During this time the fan will continue to run.
This device has an angular adjustment. Turn the
knobs at the side to adjust the tilt.
