Before first use
Accessories
To operate this product safely and correctly, the
following accessories, i.e. tools and accessory
tools, are necessary:
Suitable spray material
Suitable personal protective equipment
Spray material is available through your
authorised dealer. When buying always
consider the technical requirements of this
product (see “Technical data”).
If you are not certain, ask a qualified specialist
and get advice from your trusted dealer.

Do not use accessories not recommended
by Parkside. This may result in electric

Unpacking
Open the packaging and remove the
product carefully.
Remove the packaging material as well
as the packaging and transport bracing
(if available).
Check that the delivery is complete.
Check the product and accessory parts for
transport damage.

The product and the packaging materials
are not children’s toys! Children must not
play with plastic bags, sheets and small
parts! There is a danger of choking and
suffocation!
Before use
Checking viscosity
The product allows you to use spray material
with a viscosity of max. 70 DIN/sec.
Measure viscosity (Fig. H):

Fill the measuring cup
[

to the brim with
spray material.
–
Let the liquid run out of the measuring
cup
[
]
.

Measure the seconds until the spray
material stops running out of the
measuring cup
[
]
. The measurement
result is the DIN/sec value.
If you measure more than 70 DIN/sec:
Dilute the spray material gradually with a
suitable diluent until you measure a value
≤ 70 DIN/sec.
NOTE
u
Only use thinners that are suitable for the
respective spray material. If you use the
wrong thinner, lumps will form and clog
the product.

Never mix synthetic resin paints with
nitro thinner!
u
Read the manufacturer’s instructions for
the respective spray material to find out
about the appropriate thinners.
u
Do not spray granular/body-containing
material.
Preparing the spraying area
Cover the area around the spraying surface.
Any uncovered surfaces in the vicinity may
otherwise become contaminated.
Dry and clean the spraying surface.
If you are painting surfaces made of wood,
metal or plastic: Roughen the spraying
surface, e.g. by sanding the spraying surface
with sandpaper.
