2. To insert the battery (13), push the bat-
tery (13) along the guide rail into the
device. You will hear it click into place.
Charging the battery
If warm, allow the battery to cool
before charging.
Charge the battery (13) when only
the red LED on the battery charge
level indicator (13b) is illuminated.

1. If necessary, remove the battery (13)
from the device.
2. Slide the battery (13) into the charging
slot of the charger (14).
3. Plug the charger (14) into a socket.
4. Once charging is complete, disconnect
the charger (14) from the mains supply.
5. Remove the battery (13) from the
charger (14).
Fitting the splash guard
1. Place the splash guard (7) on the motor
head (8).
2. Fasten the splash guard (7) with the
three screws (16).
Inserting/replacing the
brush
The unused brush (11/12) can be
stored in the spare brush storage
(10a) in the additional handle (10).

Push the brush support (17) towards the
motor head (8).
2. Insert the brush (11/12) in the brush
support (17) on the motor head (8).
3. Release the brush support (17) and it
will spring back into its initial position.
Removing the brush:

Push the brush support (17) towards the
motor head (8).
2. Pull the brush (11/12) out of the brush
support (17).
3. Release the brush support (17) and it
will spring back into its initial position.
Mounting the guide roller
1. Insert the guide roller (9) on to the mo-
tor head (8). You will hear it click into
place. Only one position is possible.
Removing/inserting the
battery
1. To remove the battery (13) from the
device, press the release button (13a)
on the battery and pull the battery (13)
out.
