and storage

nance or cleaning is undertaken.
Have any work that is not described in this
instruction manual performed by our ser-
vice centre. Only use original replacement
parts.

spray down the machine with water.
NOTE!
Risk of damage. Chemical sub-
stances may attack the plastic parts of the
machine. Do not use any cleaning agents
or solvents.
Cleaning the outside of the ma-
chine

WARNING!
Cutting injuries! Wear
cut-resistant gloves when working with the
saw blade.
1. Keep the ventilation slits, motor hous-
ing and handles of the machine clean.
Use a damp cloth or brush to do this.
2. Clean the saw blade guard (5) with
a brush or by blowing out with com-
pressed air.
3. Clean resinous surfaces with a damp,
lukewarm cloth that has been wrung
out well. Make sure that no liquids can
get into the interior of the housing!
Cleaning the inside of the machine

WARNING!
Cutting injuries! Wear
cut-resistant gloves when working with the
saw blade.
1. Open both housing doors (2).
2. Open the cover of the band saw
blade on the saw blade guard (5).
To do this, reach into the gap on the
left.
3. Remove the sawdust with a brush or
by blowing out with compressed air.
4. Vacuum the housing.
5. Close both housing doors.

Notes
• Incorrect guidance shortens the life of
the band saw blade and affects the safe-
ty of the machine.
• If you are not sure about the settings,
ask a qualifi ed specialist.
Tools and aids
• Allen key AF3, AF4, AF5 (22)
• Protective gloves
Preparation
1. Pull out the mains plug.
2. Use hand protection.
3. Open the housing doors (2). Then you
can move the band saw blade (27) by
turning the drive wheel (24) or running
wheel (28).
Adjusting the position of the band
saw blade on the running wheel
and drive wheel
Set point: The band saw blade (27) runs
as centrally as possible on the drive wheel
(24) and the running wheel (28). The band
saw blade must not run outside the black
tyres.
1. Loosen the locking nut (10) of the run-
ning wheel adjustment (9).
2. Turn the running wheel while making
the adjustment.
3. Adjust the position of the band saw
