WARNING
Avoid skin and eye contact!
Mineral oil products, including oils, degrease the skin. Re-
peated and prolonged contact dries out the skin. The con-
sequences can be various skin diseases. Allergic reactions
are also known.
Eye contact with oil causes irritation. In case of eye contact,
immediately rinse the affected eye with clean water. If irrita-
tion persists, consult a doctor immediately!
15. Disposal and recycling
Information on packaging
The packaging materials are recyclable.
Please dispose of packaging in an envi-
ronmentally friendly manner.
Contact your local refuse disposal authority for
more details of how to dispose of your worn-out
electrical devices.
Fuels and oils
• Before disposing of the unit, the fuel tank and the engine
oil tank must be emptied!
• Fuel and engine oil do not belong in household waste or
drains, but must be collected or disposed of separately!
• Empty oil and fuel tanks must be disposed of in an environ-
mentally friendly manner.

Remove the filter, clean it and reinsert it.

Engine splutters

No power under load
Incorrectly set spark plug.
Clean/adjust or replace the spark plug.
Engine runs erratically

Excessive smoke.
Incorrect fuel mixture.
Use the correct fuel mixture (ratio 1:40).
No power under load
Chain blunt or chain loose
Sharpen the chain or insert a new chain. Tension the chain.
Engine dies
Fuel tank empty or fuel filter incor-
rectly positioned in the tank
Fill the fuel tank.
Fill the fuel tank completely or reposition the fuel filter in
the fuel tank.
Insufficient chain
lubrication (blade and
chain become hot)
Chain oil tank empty
Fill the chain oil tank.
Oil passages clogged
Clean the oiling hole in the blade.
Clean the groove of the blade.
