  How to work safely:

   Never use the tool for any other than its intended 

purpose and only with original parts / accessories.

   Always keep a tight hold on the tool when working. 

Make sure that you have a secure footing.

   Always remove the mains plug from the socket 

during any breaks from work, before working on 
the tool (e.g. changing the saw blade) and when 
the tool is not in use.

J

   Handle the tool with caution and care. It must  

be kept clean, dry and free from oil or  
lubricating grease.

J

   Pay attention at all times. Always concentrate on 

what you are doing and work sensibly. Do not 
under any circumstances use the tool if you are 
unable to concentrate or are feeling unwell.

  Information on saw blades

The Parkside standard equipment includes saw 
blades for wood and metal working. You may also 
use any other type of saw blade, provided it is 
equipped with the appropriate holder (T-shank). A 
wide range of optimised saw blades for all jigsaw 
applications is available on the market.

  Inserting / changing the saw blade

Only use saw blades with a T-shank.

  Tighten the two wing screws.

 Connecting a chip extractor

A chip extractor is indispensable during operation to 
protect your own health and your working environment. 
It also helps to give you a clear view of the cut and 
protects the tool against equipment failure.
