Prior to each use check the light seal.
Perform test procedure
You can use the test button

to check
whether the welding helmet's darkening
feature is working properly.
Go towards an external light source at
more than 40 W with the viewing pane
and check whether the pane becomes
darker or lighter. To do so, turn the
darkening control
9
clockwise from
"Grind" to the next position. This sets the
filter to auto-darkening mode.
